I heard this song today on the radio and thought well how freaking depressing to play this song on Valentine’s Day! Truthfully, this song really hit home for me, as I realized that I was the victim of that little one liner. My best advice to all of you who ask me for the answers to the hard questions is the following……….the only thing that we can ever change is OURSELVES. Don’t ever wait around expecting anyone to change or to live up to the expectations that we have created for them.
Miss Patty finishes up the song with dearest Don by singing….”Do you feel me beside you in your bed, there beside you where I used to lay”? Ouch! Take that one!!!! Notice how she says “used to”…….ummmm hmmmm…..
